"So stand fast in the Lord, my dearly beloved."
Philippians 4:1
Welcome to Beloved by Birthright, a space born out of a time of unexpected transition, where new beginnings often take root. When were we are going comes to a halt, it is easy to forget who we are and where we are going as we look around for any solid ground and promise to stand on. Above all, we tend to overlook the most important truth: Whose we are. We were created for connection and belonging, and everyone has a deep desire to be chosen. When plans implode and human hurt gets in the way it can shake the very foundation of our identity, but it was in this very place God reminded me the more important truth that was needed. We are beloved by Him and on Him we can standfast. To be beloved is to be highly favored and chosen. It is to be set aside and treasured in one's heart. Whatever your namesake, it is your birthright to be called beloved by the One whose love never fails.
You were designed with a a specific plan and intentional purpose. You were and are chosen in every single moment. The simple foundation of faith is knowing we were created from perfect love, so perfect love is what we seek. It is what anchors us throughout the ups and downs of life. Spending time strengthening that original relationship changes us from the inside out. It opens doors for us to love ourselves and others with more grace and less fear. It also helps us to renew our mind daily, shifting our perspective of the world and how we interact in it. In this space you will find devotions, resources, and thought pieces about real life topics, centered on a Christ centered perspective. My hope is as you explore you deepen your understanding of your faith and the character of the One who calls you by name, but most of all I hope you are encouraged by knowledge that you are beloved.
